Editor's Notes

  1. Video Loss Check:- Select the define period in second for video loss alert to be triggered.Video Freeze Check:- Define period time in second:- define how long will the video freeze be consider as “Video Freeze”Define idle time in second:- how long will be the repeated situation considered as another video freeze alarm? When the first video freeze alarm is detected, there is possible a certain period of no video freeze at all.If this is defined as 60 sec, only when there is video freeze again after 60 sec, it will be considered as another “Video Freeze” alarmArchive Check:- Need to enter the number of hard disk physically installed. Once the number detected by the system is not matched to the number user entered, it will creat the message “HDD defect”
  2. HDD Full Alert: Select the entire HDD full alert in percentageNo. Channel/Define Period (Days): Select the desire recording days per TV Channel
  3. Port number is the port where the remote client PC can go through and access the TVLog-G4 System. These two values must be matched with each IP address ports set up in IP Configuration of TVLog-G4Server.
  4. Set up its own IP Configuration or Network Properties of the TVLog-G3 systemThis is to configure the communication ports of TVLog-G3 (Server) and Client (Remote Client PC) such that no other ports will be allowed for data transmission. By default (A) Server Port: 5050, (B) Client Port: 6050It is the name given to the TVLog-G3 in the nework to identify each system in the remote videoTo enable for internet connection with port filter
  5. Each Channel has the following parameters:Channel No and Name: is the name of the TV Channel displayed on the live/recorded video.Resolution: Controlling the video picture size (see value table above)Video Format: Controlling the video picture compression ratio.Quality:H (High): High video quality is set such that the compression ratio is at the lowest level. This mode should only be used when storage disk is large or recording period is not long because it will take up huge file storage size.M (Medium): Medium video quality is set and the compression ratio is at the middle level. This mode should be used for the compromise of storage disk and recording period.L (Low): Low video quality is set such that the compression ratio is at the highest level. This mode should be used when storage disk is small or recording period must be long because it will take up only small file storage size.
