2. GENERAL
 Air Purge level indicating system which has been
designed to measure the level of ballast
tanks,fuel oil tanks,lub.oil and draft.
 The System is featured with its easy maintenance
and high accuracy consisting of :
*Air Purge Unit
*Constant Flow Regulator
*İndicator
*Gauge saver
*3-way valve
*Air supply Unit

3. AIR PURGE UNIT
The air purge head called a safety
non-reutn valve is
specially disigned to prevent tank liquid from
surging into the measuring line in case of loss of
measuring air,breakage of measuring pipe or
overflowing of tank

8. 3-WAY VALVE
By individually operating
the 3-way valve on front of the gauging
Panel or console, the zero point of pneumatic
İndicator can be checked in the ‘’vent’’ direction,and
The leak of indicator can be checked in the ‘’stop’’ direction.

9. MEASURING PRINCIPLE
 The principle is based on the measurement of the
hydrastatic head by providing a constant low flow air which
opens at the tank bottom.
 When the light quantity of air supplied from the flow
regulator is discharged through the purge mouth and goes
up in the form of bubbles.An air pressure corresponding to
the liquid level considering the viscosity will be built up in
the sounding pipe.
 If the specific gravity of the liquid is known and a pressure
in the sounding pipe is measured. It is possible to calculate
the distance from the pipe opening to the surface by means
of the above expression.

13.  Seviye Gösterge sistemi hava ile beslenmektedir. 7
barla air supply ünitesine giren hava 4 barla çıkış
yaparak sabit akış regülatöründen geçer. Geçtikten
sonra Air Purge head ve Pneumatic indicator olmak
üzere iki kısma ayrılır.
 Tank seviyesi düşük olduğunda AIR PURGE kısmına
giden hava daha az karşı basınçla karşılaşacağı için
tank içinden kolayca dreyn olacaktır. Havanın burdan
kolayca dreyn olması pneumatic göstergeye giden
havanında basıncının azalacağı anlamına gelir ve
seviye göstergesi düşük seviye gösterir. Tank
seviyesinin yüksek olduğu durumda ise tam tersi
olarak AIR PURGE kısmına giden hava daha çok karşı
basınçla karşılaşacağı için tank içinden dreyn olması
zorlaşacaktır ve pneumatic göstergeye giden havanın
basıncı artacaktır. Böylelikle seviye göstergesi yüksek
gösterecektir.
