The most famous joystick ever is celebrating its comeback. Bundled with a collection
of the most popular C64 classics, the SPEEDLINK® Competition Pro USB will bring
back happy memories of those early days for computer gamers.

COMPETITION PRO for the Commodore 64 (C64) and Amiga won the hearts of the gaming
community in the 80s and became the most successful joystick of all time. What started back
then with the joystick of all joysticks has become a lifelong passion for many gamers. To
some, the Competition Pro is like their first love.
Already famous for its black-red design, this year SPEEDLINK is presenting the legendary
stick in this great colour-combo: a transparent casing with red controls. At the time of the C64
and Amiga a rarity this version was special already in those days. Its extreme durability and
the characteristic clicks of the micro switches were its trademarks back in the day. The
current version comes with an extremely robust, sprung metal stick as well as micro
switches. Just like its predecessor, the Competition Pro USB only offers eight directions, and
a fire button as an input command. Despite that, it comes with two large buttons and two
additional smaller switches making it suitable for left and right handers. Autofire can be
activated by the press of a button – a must for many Amiga games. What's more, you don’t
need to install a driver.
The accompanying games collection by magnussoft® includes 99 games, for example
universally famous games such as Paperboy, Turrican, Defender of the Crown* and
Cybernoid. Anyone who’s ever held an original Competition Pro in their hands will definitely
remember a few of these games.
