writing, and math.
We only offer the SAT not the SAT Subject Exam.

225 minute paper/pencil exam
Mainly multiple choice, some essay questions

3. SAT SCORES
Raw score – add 1 point for each correct answer, subtract
1 point for each incorrect answer
Scale score – equated score that adjusts raw score based
on difficulty and content
Scale scores range from 200 – 800 on reading, writing, and
math to sum up to 2400 total points
Writing subscores range from 20 – 80 on multiple choice
and 2 – 12 on the essay
Examinees choose where they would like their scores
sent during registration.
4. SAT SCORES
Score reports are usually available online
approximately 5 weeks after the exam.
Each school has different admission requirements
and accepts different SAT scores.
5. SAT SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place examinee name cards on desks.
2. Check ID, admission ticket, and roster for examinee
identification.
3. Check examinee off of roster list.
4. At designated start time, read instructions in SAT Proctor
Manual.
5. During test complete appropriate paperwork, including
seating chart, testing room materials report, and
irregularity report (if necessary) in SAT Proctor Manual.
6. Continuously monitor by walking around the room and
monitoring examinees.
6. AFTER SAT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Collect and count SAT materials.
2. Dismiss examinees.
3. Submit all testing materials to testing supervisor.
