Countless individuals are familiar with the benefits of upbeat thinking and most likely are aware that it's healthier to be a positive that than negative individual. Many of those same people may believe that we just are the way we are and that if we've had a rough life or a bunch of depressing experiences then it is of no use knowing that thinking positively is a good thing because we just don't have the power to change the way we think!

Positive thinking concerns

See, the thing is, real positive thinking isn't something that can make a difference in
your life, it will make ALL
OF THE DIFFERENCE. Think about it. If an Individual
is given a chance
in life they can make the choice to either take advantage of that opportunity or to permit it to to go
through their fingers. If these individuals believe they
would fail or that things just would not work out, that is negative thinking
(and people who think negatively will have lots of "reasons" (i.e. excuses) as to why it was never
really a good opportunity).
A bona fide positive thinker
on the other hand would not only take
full advantage of the fresh opportunity, but would take it for all it's worth! A positive person says
definitely Yes! while a negative

2. person says no. Negative people say no to new opportunity.
This brings to mind that Jim Carrey movie where he's obligated to say yes to any yes or no
question asked of him as an element of the motivational program he signed up for at a seminar.
While this movie is very
unlikely to work in many ways
the essential premise is based in truth.
Positive individuals that say "yes", have encounters that are far richer and deeper than those who
say "no".
Positive thinking in my life
For instance, when I first got
to the nation of Vietnam in 2007 to make it on my own, there were new opportunities for me every
single day to encounter new
people, start a new career,
or start up a new company. I saw so many opportunities that I didn't know
which opportunity to take advantage of at first. Eventually, I seized a teaching job for
a couple years until I discovered a new opportunity to co-found a company calledSaigon Sports
Academy.
After 3 years I'd built that company up and sold off my stock for a handsome profit. When I was
first offered the chance to create a sports training business by one of my co-founders, it was quite
a risky move. I had a very
secure job teaching English that
paid well and I enjoyed very much. Why would I want
to risk losing that comfort for an opportunity
to labor almost twice as many hours with no guarantee of success?
The reason was for the
limitless POSSIBLITIES! Not having a clue what is going to happen but deciding YES anyways is
what make life so stimulating. It's true, the company could have fallen flat and I would be left
licking my wounds lamenting
over years of wasted time. But it really would not have been wasted time anyway because you
