Everything is Dharma, in a sense, for the true practitioner and avid seeker. Everything can be seen and taken as teachings, blessings and inspiration– grist for the spiritual practice mill. There are no unequivocally good or bad, positive or negative things, experiences or people; it is only thinking that makes them seem so. Everything is so subjective. It’s not what happens but what we make of it that makes all the difference in determining our character and karma, our experience, fate, destiny.

Tune in and Tune up! – Posted
By Lama Surya Das
2. I just returned from ten days with my dear old friend and guru-brother Ram Dass, at
his home in Maui. He has demonstrated to me, wheelchair bound post-stroke as he is,
that it’s not what cards you’re dealt but how you play the hand that makes all the
difference. As he says, it took him a few years, but gradually he came to see and
understand that his “guru stroked him”—and has learned the practice of saying
Thank you, Lord to all and everything. Because, “How should I know better?!”
His recent books “Still Here”, “Be Love Now”, and the new jewel “Polishing the
Mirror” give access to this old soul’s depth and way of the heart and spirit. Tune in,
tune up, drop deep into the heart of the matter, the sole– a co-meditation or
InterRelational Darshan where God, guru, and oneself are One and inseparable.
