Figures for the three current solutions
price for a 35pack of water
Going to Costco by Car: $5 + $18 for car + $50 costco membership + $25 zipcar membership = $22 + $75 one time
Going to costco by Metro: $5 + $50 membership + $3 metro = $8 + $50 one time
Talk about zipcar
Need to Talk about barriers to Entry
Talk about the two parts to the solution:
Weekly order for small orders
Whenever order for large orders
Without our service getting a case of Gatorade takes anywhere from 45minutes to 2 hours but with our service it takes 5minutes total
Makes peoples lives easier
felt that the service already exists – there is no such service geared at college students
Comparison to other services:
price for a 35pack of water
Giant: equivalent amount is $10 + there is a $50 minimum order + there is a $10 delivery fee = $60 if you want one case of water
Safeway: equivalent amount is $10 + 7-13 delivery fee + $50 minimum order = $55-$60 if you want one case of water

Incorporated as an LLC
I am the sole owner
I have spent about $600
Incorporation, website, Working capital, Administrative costs
3-weeks of service
Our goal is to streamline our operating procedures
And to establish a brand associated with quality service and good prices
Calculated weekly. Taken into account that in a survey that we conducted of GW Students 83% responded as to using a service such as ours
Assumptions Average order is $25
Profit on a Average order is $10
After the first $50 van vans cost $200 to operate
a little worse than 30% profit margin
First Net Profit is in September because first month of school
Change in Expenses in September
Thanksgiving and Christmas and Spring Break
Begin on college campuses and the surrounding area
Start in DC on GW Campus and then to Georgetown for instance
Then move on other urban college campuses and the surrounding area
The $20,000 will ensure that we will be able to operate smoothly and will have a cushion of $10,000 according to our current financial projections. Factored into those are all the things that we need to build our brand and ensure that we maintain the highest level of service and lowest possible prices.
The 20,000 is all that we need to begin operations in June.
Focus on the fully funding
Viability
You could fully fund this
It will affect GW Students
It will start next month if I get the money not maybe in 5 years
