2. ZEUS
● God of the sky and ruler of Earth and the gods
● protector of the greeks

3. Zeus
savior of his siblings: Demeter, Hades,
Hera, Hestia, Poseidon

4. Poseidon
● god of the sea, earthquakes and
horses.
● vied with Athena for the patron
of Athens

5. Poseidon
● lost against Athena and her
wisdom in their battle for Athens

6. Hera
● The goddess of marriage.
● Wife and sister of Zeus.

7. Hera
● Hera hated Heracles because he wasn't her son
but that of a mortal.
● Hera sent snakes to kill him but they failed.

8. Hera
● Before even her husband she was worshiped as
the force we call God.

9. Athena
● The goddess of war, wisdom, crafts and
domestic arts.
● Athena came from Zeus's skull and
which is why she is so wise.

10. Athena
● Athens was named after Athena
because she gave them an olive tree!

11. Aphrodite
● The goddess of love, desire and beauty.
● Prince Paris picked Aphrodite because she said she
would give him the fairest woman in the world. Helen of
Troy

12. Aphrodite
● Aphrodite started the Trojan War.

13. PERSEUS
● SON OF ZEUS AND DANAE (A MORTAL)
● HE AND HIS MOTHER WERE SENT TO DIE IN THE OCEAN. BUT
SOMEHOW THEY MADE IT SAFELY TO AN ISLAND

14. PERSEUS
● A KING THOUGHT PERSEUS' MOTHER WAS BEAUTIFUL AND HE
WANTED TO MARRY HER BUT PERSEUS WOULDN'T LET HIM.
● THE KING SENT PERSEUS TO KILL MEDUSA

15. PERSEUS
● HIS BROTHER AND SISTER ON THE WAY AND THEY GAVE HIM A
SHIELD, A SICKLE AND HERMES (HIS BROTHER) SHOES.
● HE WON AGAINST MEDUSA.

16. ODYSSEUS
● Known for his cunning ways
● Tricked his enemy into think the Trojan
Horse was a peace offering

17. Odysseus
● Odysseus fought heroically in the Trojan
War

18. Heracles and the many headed
snake.
● king told Heracles to go kill The Great
Hydra.
● A giant snake with 3 heads and when you
cut off one head two shootout the neck.

19. Heracles and the many headed
snake.
● one of the heads couldn't die.
● Heracles went to battle the great snake

20. Heracles and the many headed
snake.
● fire will seal the wound before another head
could grow back.
● He did this enough times that he cut off the
last head and sealed off the wound.

21. Heracles and the many headed
snake.
● but the severed head didn't die so he buried
the head and put a rock over it.
