non-toxic and will not harm healthy tissue. Vetericyn products are manufactured within
an appropriate physiological pH range and will not sting when applied. Tests free for
competitive animals.

Chemistry of Vetericyn Hypochlorous acid
The active ingredient in all of these products is hypochlorous acid. In some products, H
Cl
O
sodium hypochlorite is used in trace amounts as a preservative. The pH of Vetericyn is
manufactured in the appropriate physiological range, unlike diluted bleach which has a
pH > 11. At an appropriate physiological pH, diluted bleach is unstable and has limited
efficacy as an antimicrobial.
