LA ILAHA IL LAL LAHU MUHAMMADUR RASULULLAH

It refreshes and revitalizes our Imaan, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam) said: "Keep on
refreshing your Faith by reciting Kalimah frequently."

Hazrat Abu Hurairah R. A. reports: "The person who recites this eighty times on Friday after Asr
Namaaz, before standing up from his place, eighty years of his sins forgiven by Allah, and eighty
years of worship be written for him.

Note: This Daurood can be recited any time. But reciting Friday after Asr has special reward.

It was narrated from Abu Yasaar (RA) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
                                                    “Whoever says
Astaghfir Allaah al-‘Azeem alladhi laa ilaaha illa huwa al-hayyu al-
                                 qayyoom wa atoobu ilayhi
(I ask forgiveness of Allaah the Almighty, besides Whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Eternal, and I
repent to Him), will be forgiven even if his sin is fleeing from the battlefield [a major sin].” Narrated by al-
                                             Tirmidhi, 3577; Abu Dawood, 1517.

that even if her parents arose from the grave, she would not leave Salat al-Dhuhaa to go and meet them. (Ibid).

Power of Dua at the time of Iftaa: Once Prophet Moosa / Moses (peace be upon him) asked
Almighty Allah (SWT): O Allah! You have granted me the honor and privilege of talking to you directly, Have you
given this privilege to any other person? Almighty Allah (SWT) replied, O Moosa / Musa / Moses during the last
period I am going to send an Ummat / Ummah (Community or Nation), who will be the Ummat / Ummah
(Community or Nation) of Muhammad (SAW) with dry lips, parched tongues, emaciated body with eyes sunken
deep into their sockets, with livers dry and stomachs suffering the pangs of hunger - will call out to me (in dua) they
will be much much closer to me than you O Moosa / Moses! While you speak to me there are 70000 veils between
you and me but at the time of iftaar there will not be a single veil between me and the fasting Ummati of
Muhammad (SAW). O Moosa / Moses I have taken upon myself the responsibility that at the time of iftaar I will
never refuse the dua of a fasting person!

KEEP YOURSELF OCCUPIED WITH DUA BEFORE BREAKING YOUR FAST

Muhaasabah: i.e. to take stock of one’s deeds: At the time of going to bed reflect about your deeds. When
recalling a righteous act, be thankful (make shukr), and when recalling a sinful act, be regretful. Remind your nafs
of the rebuke and punishment of Allah Ta’ala for sins and pledge not to approach sin in the future. During the day
recall this pledge.

LA ILAHA IL LAL LAHU MUHAMMADUR RASULULLAH

    After every Salaat recite Aayatul Kursi and Tasbeeh Faatimah, i.e. recite in Arabic   ‫ 33 ﺳﺒْ َﺎن اﷲ‬times;
                                                                                             َ ‫ُﺤ‬

                       ‫ﺳﺒْ َﺎن اﷲ و اﻟْﺤﻤْﺪ اﷲ و ﻵ اﻟﻪ اﻻ اﷲ و َﷲ اآْﺒﺮ‬
                       ُ َ َ ‫َ َِ َ ِ ﱠ ُ َ ا‬ ُ َ ََ َ ‫ُﺤ‬

Itikaaf tips get max rewards

  • 1. Fajr (Recommended things after fajr) ZIKAR (min. 100 times each) LA ILAHA IL LAL LAHU MUHAMMADUR RASULULLAH It refreshes and revitalizes our Imaan, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam) said: "Keep on refreshing your Faith by reciting Kalimah frequently." Hazrat Abu Hurairah R. A. reports: "The person who recites this eighty times on Friday after Asr Namaaz, before standing up from his place, eighty years of his sins forgiven by Allah, and eighty years of worship be written for him. Note: This Daurood can be recited any time. But reciting Friday after Asr has special reward. It was narrated from Abu Yasaar (RA) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever says Astaghfir Allaah al-‘Azeem alladhi laa ilaaha illa huwa al-hayyu al- qayyoom wa atoobu ilayhi (I ask forgiveness of Allaah the Almighty, besides Whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Eternal, and I repent to Him), will be forgiven even if his sin is fleeing from the battlefield [a major sin].” Narrated by al- Tirmidhi, 3577; Abu Dawood, 1517. Quran • Surah Yaseen • Atleast one juz of Quran, those who have memorized Surahs should recite all such Surahs. (if they are unable to make recitation ); whenever opportunity affords. Ishraaq Salaat Perform two or four raka’ts Ishraaq Salaat. In another narration of Tirmidhi, Rasulullah is reported to have said, 'He who performs Fajr Salat with Jamaat and remains seated in the same place while engaging in Dhikr until after sunrise and thereafter performs 2 Rakaats Nafil Salat, (Ishraaq), he will obtain the Thawaab of one Hajj and one Umrah.' (Tirmidhi). Note: Ishraaq salaat time starts 10-15 after sunrise. Page 1 of 4 www.UmmahNet.com

She said that even if her parents arose from the grave, she would not leave Salat al-Dhuhaa to go and meet them. (Ibid). Rasulullah is reported to have said, 'Whoever offers 2 Rakaats of Salat al-Dhuhaa, all his sins will be forgiven even though they are as much as the foam of the sea.' (Ibid) Naptime: Get some sleep. Power of Dua at the time of Iftaa: Once Prophet Moosa / Moses (peace be upon him) asked Almighty Allah (SWT): O Allah! You have granted me the honor and privilege of talking to you directly, Have you given this privilege to any other person? Almighty Allah (SWT) replied, O Moosa / Musa / Moses during the last period I am going to send an Ummat / Ummah (Community or Nation), who will be the Ummat / Ummah (Community or Nation) of Muhammad (SAW) with dry lips, parched tongues, emaciated body with eyes sunken deep into their sockets, with livers dry and stomachs suffering the pangs of hunger - will call out to me (in dua) they will be much much closer to me than you O Moosa / Moses! While you speak to me there are 70000 veils between you and me but at the time of iftaar there will not be a single veil between me and the fasting Ummati of Muhammad (SAW). O Moosa / Moses I have taken upon myself the responsibility that at the time of iftaar I will never refuse the dua of a fasting person! KEEP YOURSELF OCCUPIED WITH DUA BEFORE BREAKING YOUR FAST Page 2 of 4 www.UmmahNet.com
