After finishing the 2015 season with a mediocre 7-9
record, the Eagles made a franchise-altering trade with
the Cleveland Browns prior to the 2016 National Football
League (NFL) draft. Philadelphia sent the Browns three
2016 draft picks, including the eighth overall pick, as well
as a first-round pick in 2017 and a second-round pick in
2018 in exchange for the second overall pick in 2016 and
a fourth-round pick in 2017.
