Option (A) – Keep Heartsease High School open with between
500 and 600 students and a specialism in engineering, and support
it to continue its current improvements.
Option (B) – Close Heartsease High school and replace it with an
Academy, growing to 950 students, specialising in engineering and
in the environment and support it to bring about further improvements
in performance.

Your view will help County Council Cabinet Members to make a decision about the future
of Heartsease High School. The consultation is taking place during the 2007 summer term
and will end on 21 September 2007. The result of this consultation will be reported to
Cabinet on 8 October 2007 who will decide whether to issue a formal public notice to close
the school.
An electronic version of this reply form can be found on the website
www.norfolk.gov.uk/heartsease We will summarise the responses and place them on this
website at the end of the consultation period.
Your comments will be anonymous and will not contain your name or anything that could
identify you. However, we cannot guarantee that this information will be withheld if it is
