  Our Vision
 Provider of Packaged Concentrated Solar Thermal and larger sized Integrated
Solar Combined Cycle power plants to the developing world.
 Deliver combined Solar Thermal Power and Water Desalination solutions
 Stimulate local economic growth and employment in Middle East, Africa and Asia
through manufacturing, assembly and power plant operations.

  Achieving our Vision
 Design small‐scale, standardized and “containerized” 5MW and 10MW solar
thermal power plants that are built in a factory and delivered to a site rather than
  constructed on a site.
 Focus on Distributed Generation for base-load and peak-load solutions to
overcome problems with site selection, and to decrease transmission line costs and
  energy losses.
 Establish regional presence through Industry partnerships, manufacturing centers
and to incubate solar technology leadership to build a vertically integrated global
  solar energy.

Why solar power system for business?
With the federal tax credit, available state rebates, and a five year accelerated
depreciation of the system value, the return on investment of a large solar power system
has never been better. Typical ROI's are 5-8 years when systems are purchased directly
from Solar Electric Supply and self-installed. With our financial analysis tools we can
help determine the ROI of a solar power system on your business.

Stabilize your power costs: With utility rates rising every year, a solar
power system can stabilize your power costs. After the system has paid for
itself, you are producing free power, lowering the costs of the remaining
power you buy from the utility.

Green Marketing: There's no better way to show your customers that your
business cares about the planet than by installing a grid tie solar system.
Many customers the fact that their business is solar powered in all their
marketing literature and communications. You can talk about your business
minimizing it's carbon footprint. If your business is not too power hungry,
you can actually become carbon neutral with a solar power system that
meets 100%.

Time for a new roof? There's no better time to install a solar power system
than when your are putting on a new roof. You can drastically lower the cost
of your system by using your roofing contractor to install the solar array
supports on your underlying building structure. They will seal the supports
and warranty their installation for any leaking. Then it's easy to install the
array on the supports with your facilities staff or a local electrician.

Grid Connection:
Grid tie solar electric systems for commercial
businesses and government agencies are the fastest
growing segment of the solar market worldwide. With
net metering programs now approved in most of the
locations, thousands of businesses, schools and
government agencies are now experiencing the Grid Tie Inverter
benefits of solar electricity.

Many states have rebates to further help subsidize the
cost of the solar photovoltaic system. With solar panel
warranties of 25 years, solar arrays will stabilize your
power costs over that period. Plus, they generate the
electricity during peak load times, often offsetting
higher tier utility rates, enhancing the

and then to electrical energy in
much the same way that
conventional power plants
convert thermal energy from
combustion of a fossil fuel to
electricity

                       b). Solar Dish Engine

Dish/engine systems use a mirror
array to reflect and concentrate
incoming direct normal insulation
to a receiver, in order to achieve
the temperatures required to
efficiently convert heat to work.
This requires that the dish track
the sun in two axes. The
concentrated solar radiation is
absorbed by the receiver and
transferred to an engine.

Solar power towers generate
electric power from sunlight
by focusing concentrated
solar radiation on a tower-
mounted heat exchanger
(receiver).

The system uses hundreds to
thousands of sun-tracking
mirrors called heliostats to
reflect the incident sunlight
onto the receiver. These
plants are best suited for
utility-scale applications in
the 30 to 400 MW range.

   Commercial Solar Power
               b). Solar Power Tower
In a molten-salt solar power tower, liquid salt at
290ºC (554ºF) is pumped from a „cold‟ storage tank
through the receiver where it is heated to 565ºC
(1,049ºF) and then on to a „hot‟ tank for storage.

Hot salt is pumped to a steam generating system that
produces superheated steam for a conventional
Ranking-cycle turbine/generator system. The steam
generator, the salt is returned to the cold tank where
it is stored and eventually reheated in the receiver.

Storage tanks can be designed with sufficient
capacity to power a turbine at full output for up to
13 hours.

    d). Solar Parabolic Trough
These plants, which continue to operate on
a daily basis, range in size from 14 to 80
MW and represent a total of 354 MW of
installed electric generating capacity. Large
fields of parabolic trough collectors supply
the thermal energy used to produce steam
for a Rankine steam turbine/generator cycle

representative of the
majority of parabolic trough

operation today. The
collector field consists of a
large field of single-axis

field is modular in nature
and is composed of many
parallel rows of solar
collectors aligned on a
north-south horizontal axis.

Each solar collector has a linear
parabolic-shaped reflector that
focuses the sun‟s direct beam
radiation on a linear receiver
located at the focus of the
parabola. The collectors track the
sun from east to west during the
day to ensure that the sun is
continuously focused on the linear
receiver. A heat transfer fluid
(HTF) is heated as it circulates
through the receiver and returns to
a series of heat exchangers in the
power block where the fluid is
used to

 Vision:
Acacia Energy is rapidly deploying and commissioning systems using
"off-the-shelf" bankable parabolic trough technology that is well-
understood by the industry. These generation assets will provide early
revenue with predictable twenty-year income streams, as well as
allowing us to continuously enhance the system and installation process
 for later projects.

 Our Goal
Future generations in Acacia Energy‟s product line will leverage our
experience with initial system installations to fine-tune our technology.
We will work with established partners to customize existing designs in
order to implement different heat transfer mediums and proprietary
thermal storage systems to provide base load generation.

Acacia Energy‟s implementation of Solar Thermal
        offers unique advantages
• Provides 24 hour base load power generation capability from the same
capital equipment. PV needs a primary power source.

• Acacia Energy provides a lower capital cost.

• Solar Thermal provides greater grid voltage stability with a spinning
        reserve from rotating equipment.

• Flex hybrid fuel capability can allow use of cheaper fuels than diesel.

• Acacia Energy s plant architectures provide optional water
desalination and chilled water as by‐products from the waste‐heat

After the system has paid for itself, you are producing free power, lowering the costs of the remaining power you buy from the utility. Green Marketing: There's no better way to show your customers that your business cares about the planet than by installing a grid tie solar system. Many customers the fact that their business is solar powered in all their marketing literature and communications. You can talk about your business minimizing it's carbon footprint. If your business is not too power hungry, you can actually become carbon neutral with a solar power system that meets 100%. Time for a new roof? There's no better time to install a solar power system than when your are putting on a new roof. You can drastically lower the cost of your system by using your roofing contractor to install the solar array supports on your underlying building structure. They will seal the supports and warranty their installation for any leaking. Then it's easy to install the array on the supports with your facilities staff or a local electrician.
