1. Pretties is a fictional book written by Scott Westerfield. It's about Tally, a girl who has
become a pretty. Her desire is to be in the "Crims." When people start getting curious
about her and Zane they put tracking cuffs on them. Dr. Cable wants Tally to transform
into a Special. She gets lost in another land and steals a hovercraft to get away. Zane is
about to die because of the headaches he's been having lately, and Tally stays with him
in the hospital to make sure he'll be okay. Shay goes to abduct Tally because she is
about to become a Special.
I can relate to Tally, she starts a new life and it's full of parties. I just finished high school
and it's a different life for me now that I'm out and I've been going to parties like her. She
forget most of her past life, and I have put my past life aside and don't remember it well
either. She has to make the decision whether she wants to stay with her friend and be
with him or to go off with her new friend. When it comes down to it, I'm always by my
true friends sides, I would never leave them or betray them for someone I just met. She
has a care free innocent life, and I feel like since I'm out of school until I start in January,
I have a carefree life with nothing to do.
