Karen Aptekar, is an EMMY Nominated Director/Producer specializing in New Media. Graduating NYU film school working for the Wells Rich Greene Advertising Agency, she produced nationally broadcast radio and TV commercials, Her documentary “Saving Evan White," was nominated for a 2009 EMMY. In 2011 and 2012 she produced the multcam live stream video broadcast for TEDxHouston. In 2011 Aptekar’s company created Who’sHOU - a digitally driven multi-platform marketing effort promoting Houston film, music & interactive at SXSW. Karen served as VP New Media for Women in FIlm & Television. Aptekar attends the MBA Program at University of St. Thomas and is COO of NotJustPerfume.com
