• The ‘wai’ is when you make your hands in prayer form while bowing your
head.
As much as possible, don’t touch other people’s heads.
• The head is considered the holiest part of your body.

• The King is like the father of Thailand. His
pictures must be on every building.
Don’t step on any coin or bill.
• Every coin and bill in Thailand has the King’s
face.

7. Travelling…
There are buses that travel to almost every area/city in
Thailand. This takes hours to get to a place since there are 2-3
stops for people to grab something to eat. There are also
trains, but it may take even longer time. If you are in a hurry
or have a limited time in the country, you can ride planes;
which may take about an hour to an hour and a half.
