Drawing on more than two decades of experience on the bench, Wayne County Circuit Judge Richard B. Halloran hears cases pertaining to child support and custody, divorce, and domestic relations. Judge Richard B. Halloran’s area of expertise extends to domestic abuse cases, and he has adjudicated in excess of 80,000 personal protection orders. He has also established three courts specializing in domestic violence. In 2010, he notably received a grant from the U.S. Justice Department Office of Violence Against Women that enabled the creation of the Wayne Circuit’s Solution Oriented Domestic Violence Court.
