The daughter of a farmer-cum-electrical engineer from Kentucky and an Italian American secretary/homemaker from South Philly, I’ve always been a misunderstood and conflicted soul. Three years into my first job at a small sports and event marketing firm—which included a brief stint touring with the Ice Capades—I left my beloved east coast roots behind to relocate to the City of Angels.
