My way by robbie williams
1. My way by Robbie Williams
And now, the end is near; But through it all, when there was
And so I face the final curtain. doubt,
My friend, I'll say it clear, I ate it up and spit it out.
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain. I faced it all and I stood tall;
I've lived a life that's full. And did it my way.
I've traveled each and every highway;
I've loved, I've laughed and cried.
And more, much more than this,
I've had my fill; my share of losing.
I did it my way.
And now, as tears subside,
Regrets, I've had a few;
I find it all so amusing.
But then again, too few to mention.
To think I did all that;
I did what I had to do
And may I say - not in a shy way,
And saw it through without
"No, oh no not me,
exemption.
I did it my way".
I planned each charted course;
For what is a man, what has he got?
Each careful step along the byway,
If not himself, then he has naught.
And more, much more than this,
To say the things he truly feels;
I did it my way.
And not the words of one who
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you
kneels.
knew
The record shows I took the blows -
When I bit off more than I could chew.
And did it my way!
