About
John Jellinek founded Jelco Ventures of La Jolla, California, in 1971. He currently still resides and operates his businesses in the San Diego area today. With over 40 years of industry experience, John Jellinek has personally been involved with over 50 private equity transitions during his career. Some of his most notable projects have included partnerships with Bell Sports Corporation, IMNET Systems Inc, Apogent Technologies, Tapsgotts, Inc., Labor Source LLC, Pelstar LLC, and CourtLink.
John Jellinek has also served as Shareholder and Operating Director of the mid-market investment bank, BPC Group. Outside of work, John is heavily involved in philanthropy.
