As many for each month…
                          Ways to tell a story
                           As many formats we

Excluding Front and Back Covers
Fri 9 Nov 2012: Assign Articles, T31 3.30pm
Here we will discuss the possible news items to include in the magazine and assign
final articles to each contributor. Beginning of marketing campaign.

Sat 10 – Tues 13 Nov 2012: Write Articles, Your House/Flat/Cardboard box
So. This is the bit where you sit at a computer and type. Good luck. Be witty.

Wed 14 Nov 2012: First Draft Deadline, The Internet
First drafts in. It is absolutely vital that this is kept; time is so tight that there is no
space for lateness. We are using these articles for the first proof of the magazine to
be printed, without them we cannot know if the design is going to work, so you
absolutely have to get them in on time – even better if they’re early.

Fri 16 Nov 2012: First Editing Meeting, T31 3.30pm
Following my editing your work individually, we will gather as a group to go through
each article in turn. Suggestions and alterations will be made for you to take away
and redraft.

Sat 17 – Sun 18 Nov 2012: Redraft Articles, Your House/Flat/Cardboard box
Make the necessary changes and get that finesse to your contribution. Remember,
there is a high chance this will be going out into the wider community – this has to be
the best you can offer. Do us proud.
Mon 19 Nov 2012 : Final Draft Deadline, The Internet
This is the absolute latest anyone can submit their article for the magazine. We will
have to say that if even one piece is missing by this date (without prior explanation),
the magazine won’t be able to go ahead, and those who did contribute in time will
hunt down and kill the fool responsible. Don’t let that person be you.

Please e-mail your contributions to both ink@fortismere.org.uk and
joseph.paul.winters@gmail.com (the school’s servers are notoriously unreliable so
cc’ing me is absolutely vital.) Please make the subject bar the month you are writing
for, the article’s name/topic and the name you would like to be credited as. I realize
this is a bit nit-picky, but it will make the whole process easier.

Please submit sooner, rather than later as Adam, Cole and I will have to edit these
before Tuesday’s meeting; don’t make us do this at midnight.

Tues 20 Nov 2012: Final Editing Meeting, T31 3.30pm
Following our edits and any notes from the school’s censors, we will double-check
your articles with you. No one goes home until all of the text is finalized for the
magazine. We will then begin to composite.

Wed 21 Nov 2012: Compositing Meeting, T31 3.30pm
You will get to see how the magazine is going to look.
Now, you may sigh in relief. Your work is done.
