1. Just Around the Corner
After months of wrestling with everyone from county health departments to . . . well, more
county health departments, we have some really exciting news! Although we’re still trying to
decide on the right weekly farmers’ market for us (probably in Santa Clara County to start out),
we have an agreement in place for a weekly location in the East Bay that will be all our own.
We’ll be in this location all day long cooking ribs and sausages (until we run out at least!), and
even be set up for pre-order pickup of briskets and chickens. We’ll have more details coming
within the next week or two, but we’re almost there! We’ve been perfecting our rib rub (which
resulted in the baby backs shown above, pictured right before I devoured them), and we can’t
wait to be able to have a weekly place to hang our hat. This will start off as once-a-week, but
the group that offered us the location has already made it clear that we can expand the
schedule when we’re ready. We’ll post the details soon!
