1. The Sounds of History
A collaborative funded by the Federal Government to provide
professional development to history teachers in grades K-16.
The focus of the grant experience is to teach history regionally.
The grant experience is a three-year commitment with a different focus each year. Over sixty
teachers nominated by Educational Service Centers and representing districts in seven
Northeastern Ohio counties will explore American history in Sound, explore the use of technology
in teaching history, and engage in active, research-based learning.
