About
Joaquín has more than 17 years of campaign, organizing, fundraising, and political experience at the national, state, and local levels. He is the former Political Director of the Texas Organizing Project. Some past ventures include directing digital strategies for Gov. Bill Richardson’s gubernatorial and presidential bids and managing digital campaigns for Service Employees International Union (SEIU). He led SEIU’s online campaigns for immigration reform and helped develop the online campaign model for stopping the deportations of DREAM Act-eligible students.
