3. Current Program
Point A is Bryant Glen
Point B is I Street
The parks are over 4 miles
away from each other
Softball plays at I street Park.
3 Fields; Poorly kept
Baseball plays at Bryant Glen Sports Complex.
8 Fields; 4 Brand-new; Very well kept
Each league is completely separate.
Each league is left to fend for themselves.
4. Current Problem
Softball is suffering; while Baseball is thriving.
Softball has no help from the city; while Baseball gets
all city exposure.
Softball is under the ASA organization.
Insurance Per Player: at least $21 (means higher sign-up fees)
Baseball is under the Little League organization.
Insurance Per Player: at least $5 (means lower sign-up fees)
5. Proposed Solution
Have both leagues merge together.
Every team plays at Bryant Glen Sports Complex.
Both leagues will use the Little League organization.
Both leagues receive equal city exposure.
Both leagues share profits and expenses.
6. Advantages
Both leagues will prosper.
Shared Expenses = Less Expenses
Parents will have less drive time.
Everything will be fare and equal.
