Neandtherals (Homo neanderthalensis) were probably our
closest relatives. Neandtherals were humans but they
were a different species to us, Homo sapiens. They
evolved in Europe and Asia while we were evolving in
Africa.
Economic competition between Neandtheral and Man
was the reason their extinction.
Size: average height 160cm, average weight 60-85kg
Growth: similar to Homo sapiens
Life Expectancy: rare to exceed 50 years
Physiology: similar to Homo sapiens
