Executive Summary

The Kids Playhouse is a full-service child care/development
facility that cares for children from age 6 months to five years
old. The Kids Playhouse will be concentrating on the dual
income, single parent middle-class families these personally
ambitious parents are typically eager in terms of their
children’s development and will be willing to pay to have their
children attend the best facilities. The Kids Playhouse will be
targeting double income professional families who, because of
work obligations, do not have the time during the day to care
for their child.

The Kids Playhouse will be targeting families that are interested in
something more than simple baby-sitting facilities, they would like the
children to be enrolled in a program that offers development of many
different skills including: socialization skills, arts and crafts, large muscle
group workouts, reading, numbers, etc. Parents who are professionals, who
are ambitious by nature themselves, are typically eager for their children to
move ahead and are willing to pay for the best development care services
for their children. Unlike our competitors, we offer advanced tutoring, and
activities such as arts, crafts, and learning English all in one location. The
Customer the Kids Playhouse will be concentrating on target customer
segments. The full-time working couples. This group is forecasted to
account for 80% of The Kids Playhouse, the second group of customers are
Single Parent.

Kid's Playhouse is a privately join proprietorship run by its owners, Jenna Lyn Dela
Rea and Joyce Ann Dela Rea. Ms. Jenna Lyn Dela Rea has 12 years of Clinical
experience in Hospital setting while her sister Joyce Ann Dela Rea has 5 years
experience in Managing and and Budgeting, and extensive experience with budgeting
methodologies and strategic planning, including the Balanced Scorecard approach.
Their advanced degree (and interest) is the driving force behind our technology
component. With inflation continuing to rise each year, the typical Pilipino family
now requires dual or supplemental incomes. This trend has created a need for quality
child care services. The population growth rate in the Cavite area is now over 14.6%,
leading us to anticipate expanding market potential for this industry in our local area.
Price, service, certification and reputation are critical success factors in the child
care services industry. Kid's Playhouse will compete well in our market by offering
competitive prices, high-quality child care services, and leading-edge educational
programs with certified, college-educated instructors, and by maintaining an excellent
reputation with parents and the community we serve.

We will open for business on year 2021, starting with an initial
enrollment of 30 students. We project healthy revenues by the
end of the first year, and expect to nearly triple that by the
end of 2023. Our biggest operating expenses will be
compensation at industry standard rates for our highly-
qualified personnel, improved for our purposes during the
start-up period. We would like to grow into three center,
eventually, but growth is planned conservatively, to be
financed from existing cash flow as we go. We anticipate a net
profit beginning in our second year.

Our passion is to provide a high quality program that is
designed to meet the needs of the parents and children. As a
general rule, the Kids Playhouse will offer a full service child
care or developmental facilities to the following:
Toddlers (6 Months to 2 years old)
Our Toddler program is designed to provide each child
with a safe and nurturing environment that will stimulate
learning. Teachers actively chart the development of each child
and provide parents with daily communication regarding their
child’s personal care routine.

Preschool (3-5 Year Olds)
Our Preschool curriculum introduces several learning
concepts such as literacy, math, and critical thinking skills.
Vocabulary development is very important at this stage too, as
children will begin to learn the art of writing. The classrooms are
organized into centers such as reading, science, math, and writing.
Furthermore, children are exposed to a print-rich environment,
which allows students to associate written language to oral
language.

Organizational Philosophy
Our daily goal is to help develop the whole child; spiritually, socially,
emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Each child is led to
experience world in a joyful, natural way. We offer learning experiences
that foster creativity and self-expression. Our staff models a love for
learning and their commitment to children as they celebrate the
milestones of discovery each day. We strive to provide a safe
environment, which offers comfort and care for children; meeting their
developmental needs in a visually appealing, clean, and inviting
atmosphere. The children learn to trust and gain confidence when their
physical and emotional needs are met in a consistent, loving
atmosphere. 10
Mission
The Kid's Playhouse mission is to provide top level child care and to
offer safe and secure child care at all times. Close personal attention
to each child is essential to providing a quality experience for all
children; therefore, adequate personnel will be hired to ensure each
child has the proper supervision will in our care. We exist to attract
and maintain customers. When we adhere to this maxim, everything
else will fall into place. Our services will exceed the expectations of
our customers.

We will be profitable in the first year. By year 3 we will be able
to hire more general help which focuses on care since we are all set for
teachers.

Services
Kid's Playhouse offers upscale child care services and an advanced collegiate
based curriculum designed for kids’ ages 6 months to 5 years old. Normal
operating hours will be 7:00am to 7:00pm, Monday through Saturday - with
observance of all major legal holidays. Early drop-off service will be offered as
needed. Kids Playhouse exists to provide Premier Child care services that are
aimed at enhancing traditional day care methodologies and integrating
extracurricular interests (such as arts and crafts, dance) into one comprehensive
program. Finally, our developmental programs reinforce basic social, listening,
independence and motor skills and prepare students for future related
interaction. All of our learning and child care services employ technology,
partnerships, professional services and other activities that support and
promote higher learning.

Location & Market Growth
● According to Census 2020 data, the population growth rate
for Cavite is approximately 3.48% per year, which is
reflected in the market analysis summary. However, the
Dasmarinas City of Cavite is experiencing a residential
construction boom. This is area of “New Golden Triangle”
growth center of industrial, offices, and commercial houses.
This suggests that more families continue to move into the
Dasmarinas City area, thus becoming potential customers.
In our market analysis, we suggest a modest 6% yearly
growth in the number of potential customers.

Market Needs
With inflation continuing to rise each year, the typical Pilipino family
now requires dual or supplemental incomes. This trend has created a
need for quality child care services. We do not see this model
changing in the foreseeable future. In fact, based on the growth in the
Cavite area, specifically Dasmarinas City, we expect the need to
increase. The Kids Playhouse is providing parents with a full-time
child care service that utilizes a sophisticated learning development
system. The Kids Playhouse will fulfill the following benefits that are
important to their customers:

• Accessibility: The facility is centrally located and is open from
7:00am to 7:00pm
• Customer service: Treating the customer like they are the most
important customer that Kids Playhouse has is reinforced in all
employee training programs.
• Competitive pricing: The pricing is reasonable relative to the
services offered.
Organization Management
Kids Playhouse has been operating as a family owned business
The operations will be handled in the following way:
Ms.Jenna Lyn dela Rea as Childcare Center Director is responsible for setting
the tone for the facility, managing the curriculum, overseeing physical facilities, hiring
staff and managing the overall image of the center. They sometimes also ensure
compliance with all local and government laws governing child care, both in regard to the
physical environment and the staff, and they manage the financial affairs of the child
care facility.
Childcare Center Director make sure that the center’s physical facilities comply
with local, state and federal laws and are a safe and appropriate environment for
children. Directors have an up-to-date knowledge of local, state and federal laws
regarding safety requirements and inspection and certification procedures, and ensure
that the center complies with those requirements. The center director also evaluates and
purchases equipment and supplies for the center or approves requests to purchase
materials and equipment

Ms. Joyce Ann Dela Rea as the General Manager, will be handling the day-
to-day operations of the center. Her responsibilities will include, but are
not limited to: hiring and supervising employees; design, training, and
overseeing of age-appropriate monthly themes & weekly lesson plans;
communicating with parents; handling all issues that arise; taking
payments from parents; handling late payments; and overseeing overall
operations.
Ms. Joyce Ann Dela Rea will be responsible as working accountant to
ensure accurate financials. She will also handle accounts payables and
running all the monthly financial statements. All financial records will be
kept at Kids playhouse so the owners will have access to the financial
operations. We are planning to use Management Software as the
technological support for our daily and financial operations

Ms. Joyce Ann Dela Rea will provide advisory assistance in
overseeing the overall operations for the center. She will monitor all
financial and operations reports to monitor the progress and areas of
concern for Bouncy Kids. The hours of the center will be from 7:00
A.M. to 7:00 P.M.
Ms. Joyce Ann Dela Rea will supervise the full-time
employees. These employees will earn a monthly salary based on their
job responsibilities.

Head Childcare Teacher
Head Teacher will plan & execute a structured curriculum along
with assessing the needs of each child in his/her care throughout the
day. He/she will show competence in caring for and educating young
children and will have the ability to communicate effectively with
parents. In addition to training and certification in early childhood
development, Head Childcare Teacher will have at least four years’
experience working in a childcare or school setting and Completion of a
four-year college program in early childhood education or A bachelor's
degree in child development is required
Childcare Teacher 1
Provides a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate
educational environment where children have the opportunity to develop
cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Provides a block and
lesson plan by which classes are conducted. May lead and functionally
supervise teacher's aides or assistants.
Childcare Teacher 1 will have at least two years’ experience working in a
childcare or school setting and Graduate of Bachelor in Education.

Childcare Teacher Assistant
Child care teacher Assistant perform all duties necessary to ensure that
children’s basic needs are taken care of. The childcare teacher assistant
responsibilities include feeding and grooming children, introducing children to
new, age- appropriate hobbies, and sanitizing all toys and play areas. She should
also be able to identify and address behavioral problems.
The Childcare Teacher Assistant position generally requires a high school
diploma or associate’s degree and 6 months experience in any care facilities.
Office/Admin Staff
This position provides administrative support and reception for the
Children’s Programs including answering calls, data entry and document creation,
and operating office equipment. Respond to inquiries made in-person, by phone,
by mail or email and make appropriate referrals both within and outside of the
Child Care Centre. Communicate with clients, children, staff and the general
public on a daily basis regarding program information, registration, billing, etc.
Ability to work independently, and effective communication, interpersonal and
public relations skills are important.
The Office/admin staff position generally requires a high school diploma
or associate’s degree in Secretarial and 6 months experience in any office
facilities.

Promotion Strategy
We will depend on client referrals, community exposure and direct mail
campaigns as our main way to reach new clients. As we change strategies,
however, we need to change the way we promote ourselves:

We'll be developing our core positioning message: "Play, Learn, and Grow
“ To differentiate our service from the competition. We will be using brochure,
poster, and direct mail to launch the initial campaign.

Our theme and curriculum will help sell the child care to
prospective clients.

We will send quarterly direct mail campaigns to the housing developments
in a 10-mile radius of the child care.
Pricing Strategy
Kids Play house must charge appropriately for the high-end, high-quality
educational and care giving services we offer. Our revenue structure has to support
our cost structure, so the salaries we pay to assure quality services must be
balanced by the revenue we charge. We will be price competitive in the market we
serve; however, we will not subscribe to the "low price leader" concept. The quality
of our service will support the prices we charge.

  • 3. Executive Summary 3 The Kids Playhouse is a full-service child care/development facility that cares for children from age 6 months to five years old. The Kids Playhouse will be concentrating on the dual income, single parent middle-class families these personally ambitious parents are typically eager in terms of their children’s development and will be willing to pay to have their children attend the best facilities. The Kids Playhouse will be targeting double income professional families who, because of work obligations, do not have the time during the day to care for their child.
  • 4. 4 The Kids Playhouse will be targeting families that are interested in something more than simple baby-sitting facilities, they would like the children to be enrolled in a program that offers development of many different skills including: socialization skills, arts and crafts, large muscle group workouts, reading, numbers, etc. Parents who are professionals, who are ambitious by nature themselves, are typically eager for their children to move ahead and are willing to pay for the best development care services for their children. Unlike our competitors, we offer advanced tutoring, and activities such as arts, crafts, and learning English all in one location. The Customer the Kids Playhouse will be concentrating on target customer segments. The full-time working couples. This group is forecasted to account for 80% of The Kids Playhouse, the second group of customers are Single Parent.
  • 5. 5 Kid's Playhouse is a privately join proprietorship run by its owners, Jenna Lyn Dela Rea and Joyce Ann Dela Rea. Ms. Jenna Lyn Dela Rea has 12 years of Clinical experience in Hospital setting while her sister Joyce Ann Dela Rea has 5 years experience in Managing and and Budgeting, and extensive experience with budgeting methodologies and strategic planning, including the Balanced Scorecard approach. Their advanced degree (and interest) is the driving force behind our technology component. With inflation continuing to rise each year, the typical Pilipino family now requires dual or supplemental incomes. This trend has created a need for quality child care services. The population growth rate in the Cavite area is now over 14.6%, leading us to anticipate expanding market potential for this industry in our local area. Price, service, certification and reputation are critical success factors in the child care services industry. Kid's Playhouse will compete well in our market by offering competitive prices, high-quality child care services, and leading-edge educational programs with certified, college-educated instructors, and by maintaining an excellent reputation with parents and the community we serve.
  • 6. “ 6 We will open for business on year 2021, starting with an initial enrollment of 30 students. We project healthy revenues by the end of the first year, and expect to nearly triple that by the end of 2023. Our biggest operating expenses will be compensation at industry standard rates for our highly- qualified personnel, improved for our purposes during the start-up period. We would like to grow into three center, eventually, but growth is planned conservatively, to be financed from existing cash flow as we go. We anticipate a net profit beginning in our second year.
  • 7. Company Descriptions 7 Our passion is to provide a high quality program that is designed to meet the needs of the parents and children. As a general rule, the Kids Playhouse will offer a full service child care or developmental facilities to the following: Toddlers (6 Months to 2 years old) Our Toddler program is designed to provide each child with a safe and nurturing environment that will stimulate learning. Teachers actively chart the development of each child and provide parents with daily communication regarding their child’s personal care routine.
  • 8. 8 Preschool (3-5 Year Olds) Our Preschool curriculum introduces several learning concepts such as literacy, math, and critical thinking skills. Vocabulary development is very important at this stage too, as children will begin to learn the art of writing. The classrooms are organized into centers such as reading, science, math, and writing. Furthermore, children are exposed to a print-rich environment, which allows students to associate written language to oral language.

Each child is led to experience world in a joyful, natural way. We offer learning experiences that foster creativity and self-expression. Our staff models a love for learning and their commitment to children as they celebrate the milestones of discovery each day. We strive to provide a safe environment, which offers comfort and care for children; meeting their developmental needs in a visually appealing, clean, and inviting atmosphere. The children learn to trust and gain confidence when their physical and emotional needs are met in a consistent, loving atmosphere. 10

Close personal attention to each child is essential to providing a quality experience for all children; therefore, adequate personnel will be hired to ensure each child has the proper supervision will in our care. We exist to attract and maintain customers. When we adhere to this maxim, everything else will fall into place. Our services will exceed the expectations of our customers. ● Expectations/Forecast We will be profitable in the first year. By year 3 we will be able to hire more general help which focuses on care since we are all set for teachers. 11
  • 12. Services Kid's Playhouse offers upscale child care services and an advanced collegiate based curriculum designed for kids’ ages 6 months to 5 years old. Normal operating hours will be 7:00am to 7:00pm, Monday through Saturday - with observance of all major legal holidays. Early drop-off service will be offered as needed. Kids Playhouse exists to provide Premier Child care services that are aimed at enhancing traditional day care methodologies and integrating extracurricular interests (such as arts and crafts, dance) into one comprehensive program. Finally, our developmental programs reinforce basic social, listening, independence and motor skills and prepare students for future related interaction. All of our learning and child care services employ technology, partnerships, professional services and other activities that support and promote higher learning. 12

  • 15. Location & Market Growth ● According to Census 2020 data, the population growth rate for Cavite is approximately 3.48% per year, which is reflected in the market analysis summary. However, the Dasmarinas City of Cavite is experiencing a residential construction boom. This is area of “New Golden Triangle” growth center of industrial, offices, and commercial houses. This suggests that more families continue to move into the Dasmarinas City area, thus becoming potential customers. In our market analysis, we suggest a modest 6% yearly growth in the number of potential customers. 15

We do not see this model changing in the foreseeable future. In fact, based on the growth in the Cavite area, specifically Dasmarinas City, we expect the need to increase. The Kids Playhouse is providing parents with a full-time child care service that utilizes a sophisticated learning development system. The Kids Playhouse will fulfill the following benefits that are important to their customers: 16

Organization Management Kids Playhouse has been operating as a family owned business The operations will be handled in the following way: Ms.Jenna Lyn dela Rea as Childcare Center Director is responsible for setting the tone for the facility, managing the curriculum, overseeing physical facilities, hiring staff and managing the overall image of the center. They sometimes also ensure compliance with all local and government laws governing child care, both in regard to the physical environment and the staff, and they manage the financial affairs of the child care facility. Childcare Center Director make sure that the center’s physical facilities comply with local, state and federal laws and are a safe and appropriate environment for children. Directors have an up-to-date knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding safety requirements and inspection and certification procedures, and ensure that the center complies with those requirements. The center director also evaluates and purchases equipment and supplies for the center or approves requests to purchase materials and equipment 18
  • 19. 19 Ms. Joyce Ann Dela Rea as the General Manager, will be handling the day- to-day operations of the center. Her responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: hiring and supervising employees; design, training, and overseeing of age-appropriate monthly themes & weekly lesson plans; communicating with parents; handling all issues that arise; taking payments from parents; handling late payments; and overseeing overall operations. Ms. Joyce Ann Dela Rea will be responsible as working accountant to ensure accurate financials. She will also handle accounts payables and running all the monthly financial statements. All financial records will be kept at Kids playhouse so the owners will have access to the financial operations. We are planning to use Management Software as the technological support for our daily and financial operations
  • 20. 20 Ms. Joyce Ann Dela Rea will provide advisory assistance in overseeing the overall operations for the center. She will monitor all financial and operations reports to monitor the progress and areas of concern for Bouncy Kids. The hours of the center will be from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Ms. Joyce Ann Dela Rea will supervise the full-time employees. These employees will earn a monthly salary based on their job responsibilities.
  • 21. 21 Head Childcare Teacher Head Teacher will plan & execute a structured curriculum along with assessing the needs of each child in his/her care throughout the day. He/she will show competence in caring for and educating young children and will have the ability to communicate effectively with parents. In addition to training and certification in early childhood development, Head Childcare Teacher will have at least four years’ experience working in a childcare or school setting and Completion of a four-year college program in early childhood education or A bachelor's degree in child development is required Childcare Teacher 1 Provides a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational environment where children have the opportunity to develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Provides a block and lesson plan by which classes are conducted. May lead and functionally supervise teacher's aides or assistants. Childcare Teacher 1 will have at least two years’ experience working in a childcare or school setting and Graduate of Bachelor in Education.
  • 22. 22 Childcare Teacher Assistant Child care teacher Assistant perform all duties necessary to ensure that children’s basic needs are taken care of. The childcare teacher assistant responsibilities include feeding and grooming children, introducing children to new, age- appropriate hobbies, and sanitizing all toys and play areas. She should also be able to identify and address behavioral problems. The Childcare Teacher Assistant position generally requires a high school diploma or associate’s degree and 6 months experience in any care facilities. Office/Admin Staff This position provides administrative support and reception for the Children’s Programs including answering calls, data entry and document creation, and operating office equipment. Respond to inquiries made in-person, by phone, by mail or email and make appropriate referrals both within and outside of the Child Care Centre. Communicate with clients, children, staff and the general public on a daily basis regarding program information, registration, billing, etc. Ability to work independently, and effective communication, interpersonal and public relations skills are important. The Office/admin staff position generally requires a high school diploma or associate’s degree in Secretarial and 6 months experience in any office facilities.

We will be using brochure, poster, and direct mail to launch the initial campaign.

Pricing Strategy Kids Play house must charge appropriately for the high-end, high-quality educational and care giving services we offer. Our revenue structure has to support our cost structure, so the salaries we pay to assure quality services must be balanced by the revenue we charge. We will be price competitive in the market we serve; however, we will not subscribe to the "low price leader" concept. The quality of our service will support the prices we charge.
