  development in Sabah.
 This is to ensure that the ecological in Sabah is
preserved since it is one of the major income in
  Sabah.
 Since the development in the Kota Kinabalu is still in
progress, it is still too early to give review whether it
  is not sustainable or not.

biodiversity since it is located at the Borneo island.

  low among the local people.
ECO FOOTPRINT

 The recycling activity in Sabah is still low like other
  state in Malaysia.
 Awareness such as rain-waster harvesting, sharing

  citizen.
 All of this habit will cause larger eco-footprint
contributed by the local people of Kota Kinabalu and
  Sabah as a whole.
EMPLOYMENT

 The amount of fresh graduate who seek job at West
  Malaysia is high.
 With lower base salary and high living cost to live in
Kota Kinabalu (only lower than that in Kuala

sustainable since car is one of the biggest green
  house gases producers.
EDUCATION

 Sabah have a few public university such as University
Malaysia Sabah and a few branches of UITM in Kota
  Kinabalu and Tawau.
 This tertiary academic campus will provide Sabah
with educated people to cater the development of
  Sabah and their younger generation.
 The education in Sabah can be said sustainable since
it have its own public university and private
  university.
HEALTHCARE

 The people who live in urban area have no problem
accessing the healthcare centre since there are

problem accessing the accomodation since the road
network in Sabah is still in poor condition.

 However with high amount of import for meat, the
  food production is less sustainable.
ECONOMY

 Sabah main economy income comes from the
tourism department, logging activities and also oil
and gas production area around the shore of the
  state.
 However, since Sabah is part of Malaysia, only 5%
of the income from the oil and gas activity will be
given to the local state government based on the
agreement that have been signed before.
 The Cabotage Policy in Malaysia worsen the
situation making the goods product is higher
  compared to east Malaysia.

low compared to developed country such as
  Singapore and Japan.
 The cause of this problem is same throughout
Malaysia with lack of education, awareness and
services point out as the major cause of this problem.
