villages ,coastal areas and on
islands in Asia and in Pacific
OUR MISSION
Community business partnerships 	
	 for the improvement of livelihoods of
coastal communities and
entrepreneurship, particular alternative
incomes for fisheries, improvement of
energy and potable water supply, waste
and waste water treatment and education.
Eco-services
	 for the adaptation to climate change
challenges in coastal areas (carbon smart
villages and payment for eco-services) and
the conservation of biodiversity and
environment in marine, coastal and rural
landscapes.
Eco- tourism
	 to support actively sustainable tourism
which meets the needs of present guests,
and the host regions while protecting and
enhancing social, environmental and
economic opportunities for the future.

Like the three circles of Blue Life, the three main mission of the people
working with, is to develop the community, implementing proactive eco-
services and to promote eco tourism.
Our Goal - A prosperous community at a high desired tourist
destination with sustainable use of natural resources
OUR PROJECTS
Mantanani island in Sabah is a model ,
how may a remote location with many
infrastructural , social and environmental
problems, improve through community
business development, eco –tourism, and
environmental conservation.
Based on the Blue Life 'Master Plan Mantanani
Development' we introduce stepwise
interventions like:
- build a greenhouse for supply of vegetables
to the school cantina and tourist operators
- renovate a Kampung Houses as meeting
point for the community, support of
“homestay” facilities
- safe bottled drink water for the children
- create a waste collection station
- propose a conservation area for the land and
seascape
- professional landscape planning for waste
water treatment,
and more activities.
