1. Prime Capital Crossroaders
City of San Fernando
or known as “The Prime
Capital City of Ilocandia” is a
third-class component city and
capital of the Province of La
Union. The city is bounded by
San Juan on the north, Bauang
on the south, Bagulin and
Naguilian on the east, and
West Philippine Sea on the
west. It is the administrative,
educational, and financial
center of the Province of La Union as well as the center of the official of Ilocos Region or
Region I.
We, the Prime Capital Crossroaders, are the students who live in the boundaries of the City of
San Fernando, La Union. Our group name is comprised of three terms, namely as follows:
“Prime Capital”, “Cross”, and “Road”.
The term “Prime Capital” was got from the trademark name of City of San Fernando
which is “The Prime Capital City of Ilocandia”. The term “Cross” comes from the related term
for center. We all know that the City of San Fernando is the center of trading and exportation
within La Union. Moreover, the City of San Fernando is the center of trading and exportation
within La Union. Moreover, the City of San Fernando is the main place in which the other
municipalities’ importation and exportation take place. And, the term “Road”, synonymous to a
highway or street, is a Civil Engineering term which means a wide leading from one place to
another.
The word “crossroad” is a figurative language which means a point at which a crucial
decision must be made that will have far-reaching consequences, and also it is used in describing
a point in your life when you have to make an important decision.
Our group logo has a description of a blue 6-wheeler truck and red buildings. The 6-wheeler
truck represents the transportation of products from other municipalities and nearby provinces to
the center of trading which is the City of San Fernando. We choose blue as the color of the truck
because it represents the calmness of trading in the city. The building represents the urban
civilization of the city. Due to trading or importation and exportation, the city boasts of various
business establishments, and small and medium enterprises such as garments and ceramics. And
the city became one of the competitive cities in the Philippines. We choose red as the color of the
buildings because it represents the coolness and radiance of civilization within the city.
