duties as the chairman of Crest Investment Company with his oversight of the Levant
Foundation and Al-Monitor. Further, Jamal Daniel is the founder and chief backer of
Levantine Films, which finances and produces Hollywood pictures that deliver important
messages to viewers.
3. Inaugural Levantine Cinema Arts Award

In 2010, Levantine Films created the Levantine Cinema Arts Award to honor leading
industry personnel, including directors, actors, and creative artists, for leading film
careers that stretch, or even transcend, the traditional boundaries of expression in
cinema.

The inaugural Levantine Cinema Arts Award was granted to Isabella Rossellini, whose
career stretches back to 1976 when she made her first appearance on film in “A Matter of
Time.” Though she appeared in various movies throughout the 1970s, her first
mainstream American exposure came via 1985’s White Nights.

which she played cabaret singer Dorothy Vallens, and Death Becomes Her.
