Our marriage was an arranged one, selected by Elders. We are very happy to state that it has stood the time.
It was usual Practice during Mappillai Ayaippu to wear suit and this was my first coat and tie-very smart indeed.
Our marriage took place at Uttamar Koil near Trichy. I was working as Supervisor at Cauvery Mills-Trichy. My boy-hood friends U.H.Narayanan and Rajagopal attended the marriage indicating the close bond between us.
Although we were married in 1956- we had our first child in 1960- hence this moment was great for us.
