How to make the most out of the platform's e-mail integration by setting the notification right

2. While some users appreciate getting updates and being able to
participate as soon as there is a new activity in a community, some may
find instant notifications to be a source of irritation. Make sure to set
your notification setting based on your preference.

Click ‘My Profile’ then
‘Manage Communities’
Set the notification you want
for each of your community.

Options available are:
Immediately, Daily Digest,
Weekly Digest and Never.
Daily digest provides a
single, consolidated notification from all
communities you've set to notify you on a daily basis; Weekly digest
provides a single consolidated notification from all communities you've set to
notify you on a weekly basis. Please take note that digest notifications will only
give you a snapshot of the interactions in your community but will require you to
login to participate or to read a lengthy post.
If you want to be able to participate through e-mail, set your
notification to ‘Immediately’ so you can receive individual alerts
per post and reply directly to it without the need to login to the platform.
Simply hit the ‘Reply’ button from your e-mail and your message will be posted
to your community and sent to members.
