We pursue our mission endlessly and passionately! <br />Nursing Informatics is a specialty of Health care informatics which deals with the support of nursing by information systems in delivery, documentation, administration and evaluation of patient care and prevention of diseases. Nursing informatics is the multidisciplinary scientific endeavor of analyzing, formalizing and modeling how nurses collect and manage data, process data into information and knowledge, make knowledge-based decisions and inferences for patient care, and use this empirical and experiential knowledge in order to broaden the scope and enhance the quality of their professional practice. <br />Informatics nurses see technology as a tool to support, rather than hinder, their love of nursing as well as impact future nursing practices. For this team, technology is leveraged for the benefit of nursing practice and improved excellence in patient care systems and processes. Informatics nurses routinely support staff in using automated applications in their daily assignments on the units and play an important interdisciplinary role that combines their passion for nursing with their love of technology, bringing a nursing perspective into the evaluation of innovative systems so that positive patient outcomes are achieved on all levels.<br />It is a specialty for the fact that a nurse specialist does information management with the electronic devices like computer. Unlike other nurses in the different field, much of them focus on patient care and on the bedside. More effort and time is required when they are in this field other than an informatics nurse is usually on their chair instead of roaming around the wards. It is also distinct in such a way that they should be an expert on these certain field. The information of the patient rely on their hands. Any shortcomings of it is a patient’s life in exchange.<br />Technology and the effective use of it – is our future.
