From hospital corpsman and lab tech for the US Navy (1963-1968), George completed higher education at UCLA with a master's degree in hospital administrator (1973). From community hospitals in USA, he became an expat, moving to Saudi Arabia in 1980 and working at large governmental and military hospitals in a variety of start-up and administrative capacities.
