DAY 01
Cochin

2. Pick up from Cochin airport and transfera to hotel, check into the hoteland relax for some time.
Afternoon start the city tour .Visit marine drive and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02:Munnar
Morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel & drive to Munnar hills (180 Kms), the green
Paradise of Kerala with unending expands of Tea plantations, spice plantations and a variety of flora
and fauna. Munnar is located on the Western Ghats, situated in the Idukki district. The name Munnar
is believed to be derived from the Malayalam words Munu (three) and aaru (river), referring to the
town's strategic location at the confluence of the Muthirappuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers.En-
route visit Cheeyappara waterfalls. On arrival Check in your hill resort and after noon at leisure/ you
can go to visit Munnar town and nearby places & Overnight stay.
DAY 03:Munnar

3. Today after breakfast,(10.00 am) go for sightseeing at Mattupetty Dam; a beautiful spot for viewing
the picturesque Munnar, Kundala Lake- a natural lake with recreational facilities like boating and
having excellent view of Western Ghats as well as the forest surrounded with. Also visit Eco point and
tea plantations. After noon you can visit Eravikulam National park; where the endange ring Nilgiri Tahr
is conserved. Later drive back to your resort for Overnight stay.
DAY 04:Munnar
After breakfast proceeds for Raja malai home for “Nilgiri Tahr” also the highest peak in south India.
Experience the magnificent views from the hill top. Later proceed to Tata Tea Museum – get firsthand
experience of tea making through demonstration. Back to Munnar Town for shopping and also visit
flower Garden enrooted. Overnight stay at the same hotel
DAY 05:Thekkady
Morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel and transfer to Thekkady. On arrival check-in at the
hotel in Thekkady. Afternoon visit Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Lying close to the plantations, in the rich
jungles of Periyar in Thekkady is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves - the
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Spread across 777 sq. km, of which 360 sq. km is thick evergreen forest,

4. the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Noted for its geo-morphological
diversity of wildlife and scenic beauty, the Reserve attracts visitors from all over the world. The
splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the charm of
the park. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing
wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar
remains the large herds of wild elephants that come down to the lake's edge. Overnight stay at the

DAY 06:Thekkady

safety of a boat on the lake. If lucky you can see the wild animals coming near to the lake to drink

DAY 07;Kumarakom

5. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the lovely backwater destination called
Kumarakom. On arrival, check into the hotel overlooking the backwater. Here you have the option for

DAY 08:Kumarakom
Early morning enjoy an excursion to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Located on the banks of the
Vembanad Lake, the bird sanctuary is spread across 14 acres. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, an
ornithologist's paradise is a favorite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian stork, egret, darter,
heron and teal. A visit to the bird sanctuary, set within the lush acres of wooded land nearby,
acquaints you to the variety of migratory birds that flock in thousands, some from the Himalayas,
some even from as far as Siberia. In addition, you can get thrilled of the native kingfishers ablaze in
psychedelic colors, experience a walk under rookeries of egrets and night herons or lone g olden-
