Publication of Books:
In order to encourage the
publication of best books in tamil
Financial assistance upto Rs.50,000/- is
being provided to the author of the book
for printing purpose.

4. Thirukkural prize:
Cash prize of Rs.10,000/- is given to
students, who recite all the 1330 kural
couplets. In this Scheme, cash prize is

Press Accreditation will be given upto 9 Reporters and 2 Photographers for a Daily in Chennai and 2 Reporters and 1 Photographer for a Daily in Districts.
Press Accreditation will be given to 10 persons of a Private TV Channel after the recommendation of the Press Accreditation Committee.
Concessions: Buss pass for free travel in Government-owned buses, 50% concession in Railway fare, Priority in residential telephone connection, special quota in allotment of
the TNHB rental flats.
2. Press Pass Minimum circulation of a
Journal should be 10,000.
New magazines at least 6
months in circulation.
