JOINT COLLABORATION, POSITIVE RESULTS
The City of Toledo and local partners were recently selected by the Ohio Department of
Transportation (ODOT) to receive approximately $460,000 for district-wide infrastructure
improvements and educational programs to make it safer for children to walk and bike to
Toledo Public Schools.

A fun, relaxing, and rejuvenating getaway awaits women ages 18 and up at YMCA

Storer Camps. Located on 1,200 acres in the beautiful Irish Hills of Southeast
Michigan, YMCA Storer Camps provide the perfect setting for Women’s Adventure
and Wellness Weekend September 11-13, 2015. Spend this women’s weekend
with your friends or take the opportunity to get away by yourself, meet new
people and learn new skills.
“Women’s Adventure and Wellness Weekend is a time to renew your spirit, spend
time with friends, and relax or challenge your body – it’s all about what you want
to do!” said Becky Spencer, Vice President of Camping at YMCA Storer Camps.
Storer Camps’ Malachi Dining Hall serves as an area to enjoy fellowship around the
fireplace, as well as wholesome, nutritious meals. All meals will be served buffet
style, with many choices available. Overnight accommodations range from rustic
cabins, nestled in the forest, to modern lodges.
Fees range between $185 and $255 for the weekend.
