3. Concept
Eesha has cared for Dimbritch forest for some time
but in recent years the forest has grown weak and
begins to die under heavy winters. She soon learns
from a woodland spirit that the forest can be revived
with the blood of those who harm it, so she sets out
to sacrifice trespasses. But she is mislead by the
cunning spirit and ends up burning the forest and
destroying her home in the process
4. Main Characters
• Eesha (23) – she has tended to Dimbritch forest since her birth, finding
more peace among the trees rather then with those in the towns around.
She is easily angered and quick acting. But she has a naivety to her that
comes with her upbringing in nature.
• Spirit – It has lied dormant in Dimbritch forest for hundreds of years but with
the taste of human blood it is awoken. It is cunning and comes in many
forms. It has gone from forest to forest destroying life to grow strong and
live on.
5. Treatment
Act 1
• Eesha deals with unwanted guests
• The trees are in pain
• She meets the spirit and makes a vow
Act 2
• She brings the spirit blood
• The forest does not heal
Act 3
• She finds out the spirit has been killing the forest
• The forest is destroyed
• In her final moment of time she sacrifices herself to start new life in the forest
