romance of a typical modern rom-
com with a twist. It shows the love
between two young adults, typical
boy meets girl narrative, who both
experience a devastating occurrence.
The young girl Carly is a likable
character that many teens could
relate to. Jack is also seen as a typical
teenager but has problems that not
even his girlfriend Carly can’t solve.
