Dr Heba Tawfik is an Ass. Prof., Consultant, clinician, and researcher in Geriatrics for years. She has many years of experience in the management of dementia, memory, and cognitive disorders and working in memory clinics. She participated in the translation and validation of the Arabic version of Addenbrooke's Cognitive Examination III (ACE III), the construction of the Mini-ACE III test, and the innovation of the Ain-Shams cognitive assessment (ASCA) scale to suit the educated and illiterate Arabic-speaking elderly population. She is one of the co-founders and director of the cognitive training lab in the Geriatric department at the end of 2019, the first cognitive training lab in Egypt.
