About
Dr Evelyn McElhinney PhD,RN is a Senior Lecturer in the Nursing and Community Health Department of Glasgow Caledonian’s School of Health and Life Sciences. Evelyn is the Programme Leader for the MSc Nursing: Advancing Professional Practice. She teaches on a number of advanced practice modules. She joined the University 12 years ago and previously held positions as a lecturer/practitioner and as a Team Leader working in an advanced practice role within the National Health Service. She has also worked in a number of acute care areas including PACU/anaesthesia. She has a PhD, Masters in Nursing, PgCert learning and teaching in higher education
