Process:
1. A user logs into their Portal account.
2. A user runs and views a report with Non-ornamental data.
3. The user selects the Graph icon and views the graphing options page.
4. The user selects up to three distinct years for report comparison.
5. The user runs the graph parameters.
6. The portal displays the graph successfully.
7. The portal displays the requested data appropriately, such that:
a. The graph displays the time increment on the X axis
b. The graph displays a unique graph line for the queried year and a comparison year.
c. The graph displays the comparison year’s values for the timeframe of the queried report
which have full or partial data for the search range.
d. The graph displays an error message when there is no data available for a comparison
year search range, and does not display a graph line.

Scenario # 2
Description: The user successfully views a weekly custom grain report.
Users: All users
Functional Area: Grain Custom Report
Aggregate: Weekly
Process:
1. The user begins a custom Grain report
2. The portal presents the user with the option to enter report date parameters
3. The user enters date values, and:
a. If using the calendar tool:
i. Can select a Saturday on or after 1/4/1992 and before the current date
b. If entering dates directly into the date field:
i. Is notified if the date they just entered is not in a valid mm/dd/yyyy format
ii. Will see a 0n (yy) century entry transform to 200n (yyyy)
iii. Will see a 5n-9n (yy) century entry transform to 195n -199n (yyyy)
4. The user clicks the Go, Run, Update, or Refine button
5. The portal validates:
a. The start date is prior to the end date
b. The search range is within a two-year timeframe
6. The portal displays an error message stating the user date error, if required
7. The user corrects their date entry, if required
8. The user successfully advances to the next stage of the custom report
9. The user runs a report for their requested timeframe
10. The portal displays the requested report
