7. Some final words
● This may have been an over exagguration of
gender effects on stress and sleeping
problems.
● However, it is true that there is a correlation
between sleeping problems and stress at work,
and that this effect is stronger among women
(Folkhälsorapport 2009, Socialstyrelsen [Public health report
2009, The National Board of Health and Welfare, Sweden]) .
● Sex change is probably not a good solution to
minimize stress related sleeping problems –
increased gender equality might be one.
