I have known Mohd Ariff Atahrim for 8 years in my capacity as teacher and as head of the
Department of Nursing, at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Mohd Ariff started his carrier as
one of our Bachelor of Nursing students, as our tutor and as part of our staff who was actively
involved in development of the Nursing Department of UKM. As a student of Bachelor of Nursing
programme, Mohd Ariff shines as the best student of the final year programme, based on his
grades, attendance and class participation and leadership characteristic. As teacher, I rated Mohd
Ariff’s academic performance in my classroom as superior.
Mohd Ariff has a number of strengths to offer as a student in University of Toronto. Mohd Ariff is
always interested in supporting others, working with community service project and he is very helpful
in organizing and working especially with young adolescence in term of health.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend Mohd Ariff. If his performance in any indication of how he
had performed in your position, Ariff will be a positive addition to this University. Although I have
moved out to another University, I would still offer myself as a referee to Mohd Ariff , if you should
