This document compares the prices of various common household items from the 1930s to today. It shows that the prices of toasters, radios, gas ranges, washers, refrigerators, eggs, bread, sugar, toilet paper, toothpaste, detergent, body wash, women's dresses, men's suits, purses, and men's shoes have all increased significantly from the 1930s to the 2000s, with some items increasing over 10 times or more in price when adjusted for inflation. Charts and graphs are provided to visually depict the large price increases for these everyday products over the past 70+ years.
