3. In order to do this, we called a veterinarian to visit the classroom and talk about the different classroom pets that would be good.

5. These are the results that the class came up with. The new class pet is the Hamster and requires more care than the other animals.

7. Needs a water bottle, food bowl, and chew toys.

8. Place a spinning wheel in the cage for the hamster to exercise.

9. Provide a small box or little bed for the hamster to sleep in.

10. Feed the hamster 2 times a day with hamster food and clean the cage out once a week.

12. Make the classroom more fun.

13. Help to teach us more responsibility.
