Unfurling The History Of The Monastery, In The 17th Century, Attacked The Monastery. The 19th Century Too Witnessed Three More Intrusions By Aggressive Enemies, Every Time The Monastery Was Attacked The Monastery Lost What Is Commonly Called As Harmony Of Design And Architecture. Rather, The Importance Of The Monastery Lies In It Being One Of Those Few Monasteries Of The State That Have Completed 1000 Years Of Existence The Grand Kalchakra Ceremony Was Organised. Fo r Buddhists, Kalchakra Implies 1000 Years Or Wheel Of Time . KIBBER Village ( Height Of 4270 Meters) There Is A Monastery In Kibber Which Is Named After Serkang Rimpochhe Of Tabo, This Place Is Home To A Monastery Which Is Named After Serkong Rimpoche Of Tabo. He Expired In This Monastery In The Year 1983 And At The Place Where He Was Being Cremated, A Water Source Erupted. Even Today, Water Coming Out From The Source Is Utilised By The People Of Kibber, There Is A Traditional Trade Route From Kibber To Ladakh Over Parang La. The Spitians Go To Ladakh To Barter Their Horses For Yaks Or To Sell For Cash, The Familiar Prayer Wheels On Top Of The Structure Could Be Seen The Village Has Around 80 Houses, Unique, Given That They Are Made Of Stone Instead Of Mud Or Adobe Brick Used Extensively . LANGZA Village ( Height Of 4400 Meters) Perfect Village With An Exceptionally Beautiful Snow -Clad Mountain Looking Over It. A Golden Statue Of The Medicine Buddha Sat High On A Knoll Above The Village , Warding Off The Illnesses Coming Up From Below . In The Background Is The Mountain Peak, Locally Called Chau Chau Kang Nilda, Namely Langza Yongma (Lower) And Langza Gongma (Upper). This Homogeneous Buddhist Village Belongs To The Sakyapa Sect Of Tibetan Buddhism. Langza Houses A Population Of 137 In 33 Households.
