11. Business Applications
Departments have been asked to submit a list of
required applications
Windows 8 computers will be made available to all
departments for testing
Applications need to be verified for Windows 8
compatibility by March 31
12. Migration Timelines
Client Services will notify you when Windows 8 will be
deployed to your department
Beginning in April
Target completion June 30th
13. Back Up Your Files
All files saved on the C: drive must be backed-up
PRIOR to Windows 8 deployment
Back up (save) all of your files to the S: drive
