Regional planning can be found as a significant element in the planning systems of many countries worldwide, although the definitions and nature of what constitutes regional planning can vary considerably. Occupying an intermediate position in the planning hierarchy, regional planning can also sometimes find itself in an uncomfortable position – squeezed between often quite powerful national and local elements of those systems. As such, regional planning fortunes can wax and wane – but what has been remarkable over time has been the enduring nature of such activity because there are important issues which require this level of intervention. Indeed it is our contention that, with the trends and emerging issues in contemporary society, there is an even stronger need for regional planning. Economic and social tendencies foster increasing mobility, in daily/week time and in lifespan time. Spatial patterns are influenced by concentrating and dispersing flows; it no longer makes sense to consider urban and rural areas as distinct self-contained territories – they are linked to nearby and distant areas in a variety of different ways, reflecting for example the revolution in telecommunications. We are also confronted with the fundamental challenges of climate change and the drive for a much more sustainable approach to our development. The regional level may have a central role to play in the ‘territorial integration’ between natural and socio-economic systems, providing an appropriate basis for advancing sustainability. IN THE 13TH CENTURY, KING PETHASINH OF PETHAPUR, RULED OVER SHERTHA TOWN. A NEW CAPITAL CITY WAS TO BE BUILT ON LAND WHICH WAS ONCE PART OF PETHAPUR STATE AFTER AHEMDABAD WAS MADE THE CAPITAL. OF STATE. THIS CITY LIES ON THE WESTERN BANK OF SABARMATTI RIVER, WHICH ALSO FLOWS INTO AHEMDABAD.

Chandigarh is known for numerous innovations and experimentation in the art and science of city planning, state of art architecture, quality development and effective and efficient urban governance. However, numerous positivity of the capital city still remains unknown. Chandigarh was supposed to have a co-operative based food supply system covering the city as a whole, for supplying and making available fresh vegetables, fruits and day-to-day needs of the residents at most affordable price. City was to have a race course along Patiala-ki -Rao water course on the west part, with manure of the horses used as fertilizer for growing vegetables for the city. Chandigarh remains the first and only city in the country to have an EDICT.As per dictionary--Edict means -- An official order or proclamation issued by a person in authority. Despite the fact Corbusier never commanded any authority in legal parlance except, designated as the Advisor to the capital project, still he defined an Edict for the new city bringing out basic principles related to living, working, COBS and circulation, vision and mission of the new city. Knowing and realizing the fact that in the democratic process, city may be manipulated, misused and abused to serve the personal and political agenda by changing the fabric of the city, he evolved the Edict and called upon the present and future residents of the city, to safeguard its identity and uniqueness and resist all unwanted changes. All cities need to follow the example of Chandigarh. Urban Planners and Architects must come forward to define an Edict for each Indian city, in order to make people aware about the basic fabric of that city besides defining the valuable heritage and culture which must be conserved, preserved, protects and safeguarded by the citizens to eliminate commercialization and treating city as a tradeable commodity.

The Raspberry Pi is a series of credit card–sized single-board computers developed in the UK by the Raspberry Pi Foundation with the intention of promoting the teaching of basic computer science in schools. The original Raspberry Pi and Raspberry Pi 2 are manufactured in several board configurations through licensed manufacturing agreements with Newark element14 (Premier Farnell), RS Components and Egoman. These companies sell the Raspberry Pi online. Egoman produces a version for distribution solely in China and Taiwan, which can be distinguished from other Pis by their red colouring and lack of FCC/CE marks. The hardware is the same across all manufacturers. The original Raspberry Pi is based on the Broadcom BCM2835 system on a chip (SoC), which includes an ARM1176JZF-S 700 MHz processor, VideoCore IV GPU, and was originally shipped with 256 megabytes of RAM, later upgraded (models B and B+) to 512 MB. The system has Secure Digital (SD) (models A and B) or MicroSD (models A+ and B+) sockets for boot media and persistent storage.
